Here we are. almost well into 2010.
No magazine.
Not one glossy page to show. What happened?
The
last few years were NOT good years for us. We had hoped to have several issues out by now, but
we've run into some problems.
Michael Jordan once said, "I can accept failure, but
I can't accept not trying."
So, We're still trying. Some people in the industry would say
we're REALLY trying...
(that was meant as a joke - it's okay to laugh)
As I continue
remedying our site issues (it's STILL a one-man-show right now), unforeseen problems with red tape and time constraints
have delayed getting a BUS BARN issue laid out, let alone put to bed. Although I appreciate your generous calls to support
the effort, or informing me when the site is cobweb or just plain down, I have a melodious yet ominous submarine
sound that chimes when this happens...
or, that could be Eddie Fisher with his ominous pocket "Stop Requested
Bell Chime Device".
Long story. Ask me sometime.
I also have a sea of e-mail to navigate, so please
be patient. Rome wasn't built in a day! I'm doing my utmost to make sure you get answered and I appreciate your patience.
As ever, we're still in need of getting the groundwork together for publication. Things like finding a suitable printer
and figuring out press runs that will put out a decent number of issues that will not short us or leave us with
a surplus. That is, at an economical cost -- both to us, as the producers, and to you, as the consumer. We do have office
space (limited as it may be), but we're finding that it may be neccessary to move to another location. Also, we're
still always open to suggestion on topics and subject matter for the publication.
Then, there's the issue
of funding -- start up capital. I'm working my ass off. Working as hard as I can. However, with the recent bank failures
and the recent CRASH of the U.S. economy, getting small business loans are now next to impossible. We'll have to see what
happens in the next few months with the election of a new president and how the economy recovers. Wish us luck.
So,
we do apprecate your patience and understanding. Just know that we haven't abandoned BUS BARN and the
project is still on the table -- if just somewhat behind schedule.
Thanks for understanding.

Also, please understand that because we are actively out raising funds and taking on other projects, updating the web
page at times may also be a bit slow. So if the pages look a little 'cobweb', relax. We'll make major update changes coming
soon.
The message boards died.
RIP, message boards. Look for us on MySpace!
