Subscription Information

Wouldn't you just love to be a charter subscriber to the best bus and coach enthusiast magazine in North America? Well, we aren't quite 'there' yet (Are we there yet? Are we there yet?). Hopefully,
RUN 001 rolls off the printing press by the first quarter of 2006. Patience!

If you send me your snail mail address, I'll let you know when things progress, price information, and, of course, when we publish the new edition. That way you stay up to date!

Contributor's Guidelines

If you not only love buses and the bus industry (or transportation in general), but also love to write, we want to hear from you! We need writers to cover fan trips, bus industry events, perform interviews and collect NEWS! Here's a list of issues I'd like writers and photographers who want to contribute to BUS BARN to keep in mind...

We’re looking for anything that can be described as “BUS” Our definition of BUS is transit, motorcoach, lines/routes, new, vintage, collectibles, bus groups, bus groupies, museums, company profiles and the like.

Profiles of and interviews with "bus people" and business owners are welcome, as are book and video reviews and nuanced analyses of particularly horrifying and/or inspiring examples of the "bus culture".

Nonfiction essays prefered. Fiction upon careful review. We do not publish poetry. Ever.

Finished work and query letters are both welcome. If sending only a query, please include clips and/or writing samples. And hey—everyone likes a nice cover letter.

Also, if you think you have what it takes to join our staff, send a cover letter describing yourself and your background (along with a few writing samples - preferably bus/transportation related), to our Features Editor. Once your samples are received and reviewed, the Features Editor will supply some feedback and discuss compensation (after all, not ALL articles/photos are created equal).

Any other questions? Please direct them to the Features Editor. Send your stuff to:

BUS BARN
Box 360
Corrales, NM

Don’t forget to include a self-abused, stomped envelope.

Or submit via e-mail at mail to: webmaster@busbarn.net
